Job Responsibilities:

As a Staff Assistant, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of administrative tasks, including:

  • Scheduling and coordinating meetings, events, and activities
  • Managing and maintaining accurate records, including employee files, station meeting plans, and performance reports
  • Handling finance and accounting tasks, including processing invoices, tracking expenses, and reconciling accounts
  • Coordinating travel and accommodation arrangements for employees and management
  • Maintaining office supplies, equipment, and technology, including troubleshooting and resolving issues
  • Providing support for employee onboarding, including setting up new employees with necessary systems and resources
  • Assisting with timekeeping, data entry, and reporting
  • Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion
  • Performing other duties as required to support the team and achieve business objectives

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, communications, or a related field
  • Previous experience in an administrative or office setting, preferably in a customer-facing role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees, management, and external partners
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a high level of customer interaction

  • Knowledge of airline operations, policies, and procedures
  • Familiarity with airline-specific software and systems, such as InvoiceWorks and Workbrain
  • Experience with budgeting and financial planning, including forecasting and reporting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
