Experienced Data Entry Specialist – Alternate Investments Reconciliation and Corporate Actions

Job Summary:
We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Specialist to join our team in a full-time, remote position. As a Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for performing daily reconciliation and trade/transfer tasks for Alternate Investments, including processing trade deal purchases, identifying and addressing breaks between TD Ameritrade and fund companies or transfer agents. You'll also be responsible for processing Corporate Activity Activities, settling/reconciling transactions, and processing/reconciling returns activity. In addition, you may be tasked with analyzing complex/escalated issues, testing/validation of new innovation enhancements, and provider modifications.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process trade deal purchases in customer profiles and identify/address breaks recognized between TD Ameritrade and fund companies or transfer agents
- Process Corporate Activity Activities, settle/reconcile transactions, and process/reconcile returns activity
- Analyze complex/escalated issues and provide recommendations for resolution
- Test and validate new innovation enhancements and provider modifications
- Perform daily reconciliation and trade/transfer tasks for Alternate Investments
- Engage with Retail and Institutional Service Teams via email, phone, Slack, Overview, and Salesforce
- Collaborate with fund companies, transfer agents, opposite agencies, and other external business partners to resolve issues and improve processes
Essential Qualifications:
* 1-2 years of experience in data entry, reconciliation, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with Salesforce
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy and quality in work products
- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working in the financial industry, particularly in Alternate Investments
- Knowledge of regulatory commitments, such as 2340 and 15C3-3
- Experience with tax coding and corrections
- Familiarity with internal/external system improvements or concerns
- Ability to provide method or innovation service alternatives to management
- Experience with transfer issues and remediation
