About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team as a Data Entry Specialist. In this role, you'll be responsible for processing prescriptions, communicating with healthcare providers and insurance agencies, and utilizing your exceptional data entry skills to ensure seamless operations. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple tasks while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process prescriptions and communicate with healthcare providers and insurance agencies
• Utilize data entry skills to support pharmacy operations
• Work collaboratively with the Specialty Mail Request team to ensure efficient processing of prescriptions
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, healthcare providers, and insurance agencies
• Perform other duties as assigned to support pharmacy operations

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., pharmacy, healthcare administration)
• 2+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
• Pharmacy Technician certification in the state of GA
• Pharmacy Technician certification from a national organization (e.g., PTCB, NHA)
• Excellent data entry skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

• Specialty pharmacy experience
• Experience with prescription settlement and communication with prescribers regarding case status and solution guarantee issues
