Experienced Full Stack Data Analyst – Financial Planning Systems (Part Time/Remote) at arenaflex DPS

As a Senior Analyst in our Financial Planning Systems team, you'll be part of a collaborative and innovative environment that combines finance and IT expertise. You'll have the chance to support and develop financial systems applications, work closely with stakeholders to identify automation opportunities, and create effective solutions to drive business growth.

What You'll Do

* Maintain and support the Hyperion planning application, ensuring accurate and timely financial data

• Validate data from Hyperion Financial Management and regulatory sources
• Investigate and resolve issues with data, including divisional roll-ups and intercompany transactions
• Perform system maintenance, including user access management
• Provide technical support to clients with system issues, reports, forms, and models
• Assist in preparing detailed scenarios and analytical results on complex financial issues and competitive industry analyses
• Facilitate and complete monthly headcount process using Hyperion
• Update Hyperion Planning with organizational changes, coordinating with regulators and GL teams
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine reporting business requirements and propose effective solutions
• Develop Essbase cubes, Planning Applications, Reports, and estimating and planning models for Finance divisions

What You'll Need for Success

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Data Systems, or related field

• 2 years of experience in a Finance role, including experience with financial summaries, financial modeling, and analysis
• Strong IT foundation, including experience with Oracle and complex and social data structures
• Familiarity with Hyperion, including development and administration experience (including Intelligent Disclosure, Essbase, Planning)

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with data visualization tools and statistical analysis software

• Knowledge of data governance and data quality principles
• Familiarity with cloud-based financial systems and SaaS applications
• Experience with agile project management methodologies

Essential Skills and Competencies

* Ability to adapt and be flexible in the use of scientific methodologies related to financial issues

• Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex data issues
• Meticulous attention to detail with a focus on precision and ability to prioritize tasks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
