Job Responsibilities

As a Network Protection Examiner Understudy, your responsibilities will include:

• Working with business clients to conduct needs analysis related to systems and business processes to develop high-quality technical solutions.
• Ensuring solutions are aligned with internal tooling, business strategies, and compliance with departmental standards.
• Managing timelines for planning, coding, testing, and implementation to ensure solutions are completed on time and within budget.
• Serving as a resource to ensure effective communication between business and IT groups.
• Participating in system and acceptance testing.
• Scope of work may vary depending on the team project.

Essential and Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.

• Fundamental knowledge of data security and risk management principles, theories, and strategies preferred.
• Experience or exposure to Proofpoint PhishAlarm preferred.
• Experience or knowledge of ServiceNow Administration, Risk and Compliance (GRC) preferred.
• Essential knowledge of business analysis, process modeling, and improvement preferred.
• Major understanding of project management systems, including the ability to design, manage, and maintain a complex, organization-wide program preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with all levels within the organization, including both technical and non-technical stakeholders preferred.
• Fundamental knowledge of technical environment required.
• Openness to Agile philosophies preferred.
• Coursework or experience related to Network Security preferred.
• Ability to remain organized and manage multiple and simultaneous tasks under tight deadlines preferred.
• Past investigator entry-level position experience within the past year preferred.
• Experience resolving business issues in a capstone or case competition preferred.
• Functions well in a culture that is open, direct, conscious, gracious, and empathetic.
• Fast learner, self-motivated, team-oriented, with a sense of humor.
