About the Role
arenaflex is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our team of experts in web and cloud application development. As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in helping us to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction through data-driven insights. You will be responsible for designing and implementing data measurement and dashboard requirements, improving existing estimation frameworks and tools, and enhancing data answers for budget and mission estimation. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with marketing effort leaders, teams, and our central analysis group to gather data and measurement requirements.
- Oversee and improve integrated reporting for internal marketing spend and performance. Lead reviews, improve data processes encompassing data flow, and ensure data accuracy.
- Oversee in-house processes for advertising experimentation. Track and log ongoing studies/tests across arenaflex, Instagram, and Courier. Build automation to improve data precision and flexibility.
- Write effective SQL queries to retrieve and analyze data from database tables.
- Partner with our analysis and cross-functional partners to identify and correct data accuracy/precision issues across our reporting, data framework, dashboards.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. computer science, mathematics, statistics).
- 2+ years of experience in SQL (Prophet, Vertica, Hive, MySQL, etc.).
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Experience building/working distributed frameworks of data extraction, ingestion, and processing of large data sets from multiple sources.
- Self-starter with adaptability to work in a fast-changing environment and uncertain circumstances.
- Experience working independently and a history of taking initiative.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
In addition to the essential qualifications, we are looking for candidates with the following preferred qualifications:
- Partner's certification in computer programming or equivalent training.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g. AWS, Google Cloud).
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
