Our Operations and Customer Center (OCC) is the heartbeat of our global operations, responsible for all strategic and tactical decision-making for any operational disruptions. We're seeking qualified co-op students to join our team and support our teams in utilizing data to solve operational business challenges.

Job Responsibilities

As a Customer Support Co-op in our Operations and Customer Center, you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects that will challenge you and help you grow as a professional. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Load Control Center: You'll work with our Load Control Center team to ensure that aircraft weight and balance, fuel distribution, and compliance with manufacturer and company specifications are met. You'll also create applications and efficiencies to reduce workload for the frontline team.
• Fuel System: You'll develop strategies, tools, and sustainability policies for annual jet fuel consumption. You'll research and develop methods to determine safe and efficient fuel loads, improve aircraft routing, and enhance cargo forecasting.
• Data Analysis: You'll work with our data analysis team to identify trends and insights that will help us improve our operations and customer service.
• Project Management: You'll work on projects that require strong organizational and project management skills, including prioritizing tasks, managing timelines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Requirements to Succeed

To be successful in this role, you'll need to meet the following minimum qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Analytics, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Aviation Management, or a related 4-year degree program.
• Available to work for three alternating semesters in Atlanta, GA, Monday through Friday.
• Must be enrolled in an educational institution throughout the co-op program.
• Willingness and ability to learn new skills and take on new challenges.
• Team-first attitude with a focus on team success.
• Strong organizational, project management, and verbal/written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Comfortable working in both group and individual settings.
• Prioritizes safety and security for oneself and others.
• Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
• Must have a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
• Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the US.

Preferred Qualifications

While the following qualifications are not required, they will give you a competitive edge in this role:

• Familiarity or experience with SQL, SAS, Python, R, Tableau, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Understanding of airline operations, scheduling, and planning.
• History of leadership roles in student and community organizations.
• Passionate about a future career in the aviation industry and serving arenaflex's customers.
