Job Summary

As a Senior Learning Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs that drive exceptional results. You'll work closely with our Customer Support Associates, operational stakeholders, and other team members to create a learning environment that's engaging, effective, and tailored to their needs. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping the future of our training programs and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Learning Specialist, you'll perform a range of tasks that include:

  • Supervising structured learning metrics: You'll oversee the results of assigned territories and regions, ensuring that our training programs are meeting their intended goals.
  • Managing live performance metrics: You'll be responsible for end-to-end performance metrics management for assigned territories, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Conducting learning sessions: You'll deliver training courses on new processes, continuous learning, new hire batches, transfer batches, and other topics as required.
  • Maintaining data and analysis: You'll use Excel reports to track and analyze training metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Ensuring completion of new hire training programs: You'll work closely with operational stakeholders to ensure that new hire training programs are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Partnership with operational stakeholders: You'll serve as a key point of contact for the Learning Experience team, working closely with operational stakeholders to identify and address training needs.
  • Identifying and certifying learning coaches: You'll identify and certify learning coaches, ensuring that they have the skills and expertise to deliver high-quality training programs.
  • Leading individual improvement projects: You'll lead projects aimed at enhancing business performance, working closely with team members to identify and implement solutions.
  • Driving quality and learning metrics: You'll work closely with the team to drive quality and learning metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Conducting chime sessions and classroom sessions: You'll deliver training sessions to stakeholders, ensuring that they have the knowledge and skills required to succeed.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 2+ years of experience in training delivery roles: You'll have a proven track record of delivering high-quality training programs that drive exceptional results.
  • 1 year of experience in Customer Service or customer service-related work experience: You'll have a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices.
  • Proficient computer skills: You'll be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and instructional software.
  • Highly accurate and fluent in Japanese and English: You'll be able to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders in both languages.
  • Flexible to work within a 24/7 x 365 days global team: You'll be able to work flexibly across a variety of time zones, collaborating with team members from around the world.
  • Knowledge of adult learning, content design, and facilitation: You'll have a strong understanding of adult learning principles and practices, as well as experience in content design and facilitation.

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:

  • Experience as a trainer, corporate training specialist, or related position: You'll have a strong background in training and development, with experience in designing and delivering training programs.
  • Project management skills: You'll have experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong ability to multi-task: You'll be able to juggle multiple tasks and responsibilities, working effectively in a fast-paced environment.
