Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Control Standards Data Analyst to join our team on a 12-week internship basis. As a Quality Control Standards Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing data to identify trends and patterns, and providing insights to drive business decisions. You will work closely with our Quality Control team to ensure that our processes and procedures are efficient, effective, and compliant with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform and assist others in the Quality Control group in ideal data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data components.
- Help with creating and presenting results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical clients and leaders.
- Assist with exploring ad-hoc requests arising from emerging maintenance issues and provide logical answers to enable Senior Leaders to make business decisions while adjusting existing project responsibilities.
- Present findings, trends, and potential recommendations by using data visualization tools supporting the relevant marks of the investigation to ease partner understanding.
- Help with creating and disseminating specific queries to pull and coordinate data from various sources, laying out the rhythm, and approving the need of the data requirements.
- Identify irregularities in processes through reviews/audits and convey findings to the team.
- Assess the effectiveness of processes and methods by observing for patterns and errors.
- Ensure that a compliance mindset is at the forefront of every decision.
- May perform other work duties as directed by Group Leader.
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Data Analysis, Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze large datasets with precision and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with data analysis software such as Alteryx, QuickBase, or SQL.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.
- Experience with data mining and machine learning techniques.
- Strong understanding of data governance and compliance principles.
- Experience working in a team environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
