Responsibilities
As a Phone and Chat Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Managing large volumes of inbound and outbound calls in a timely and efficient manner
- Navigating multiple chat channels simultaneously to provide seamless customer support
- Following established communication scripts to ensure consistency and accuracy
- Identifying customers' needs, clarifying information, researching solutions, and providing alternatives
- Accessing company and client resources to accurately handle calls and resolve issues
- Performing data entry and customer service tasks with precision and attention to detail
- Navigating online systems efficiently to verify credentials and process requests
- Working with customers to resolve issues, answer questions, and provide support
- Maintaining a positive and professional demeanor in all customer interactions
- Demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- 1 year of customer service or customer support experience
- 1 year of previous call center or office background experience required
- Technical savvy and proficiency in navigating online systems
- Previous remote work from home experience a plus
- Quick learning ability and ability to work independently
- Strong phone and verbal communication skills, with active listening and problem-solving abilities
- A background check applicable with state and federal laws is required

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
As a Phone and Chat Specialist, you'll enjoy:
- Starting pay of $14/hour, plus shift differential (extra $1/hr nights & wkds) and possible increase after 90 days pending attendance and performance
- Work hours: Shifts between 7:00am-7:00pm (CST) Work Days: Mon-Fri and rotating weekends
- Paid training: 3 weeks in length from 8:00am-5:00pm Mon-Fri (CST)
- Status: Full Time 40 hours
- Equipment provided: arenaflex will ship equipment to you for full-time permanent employees
- Must have verified internet service (secure, reliable, and dedicated high-speed is required to support business needs) and an established dedicated work area (desk, chair, electrical outlet, direct LAN connection)
Hardware/Software Requirements
To ensure seamless performance and security, you'll need:
- Processor: Intel Core i5 5200 Series or greater
- Memory: 8GB on Windows 8.1 / 10 64 bits
- Screen Resolution: 1280x768 or higher, dual monitors required
- USB headset
- Up-to-date antivirus software must be installed on the platform and a recent scan completed
- Firewall must be enabled
