Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and Innovate: Oversee the design and development of data pipelines, solutions, and end-to-end data architecture to support our business needs, staying ahead of the curve in terms of emerging technologies and trends.
* Team Leadership: Manage and inspire a high-performing team of data engineers and architects, ensuring the robustness, security, and scalability of our data systems, and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
* Strategic Execution: Drive the execution of our data product strategy, aligning it with the company's strategic goals and objectives, and ensuring that our data solutions meet the evolving needs of our business.
* MDM and Data Governance: Implement Master Data Management (MDM) and governance practices to ensure data accuracy and consistency across the organization, and maintain the highest standards of data quality and integrity.
* Cloud Solutions: Develop and manage cloud-based data solutions, ensuring data protection and regulatory compliance, and leveraging the latest advancements in cloud computing to drive business growth and innovation.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their data needs and aligning them with our data strategy, and communicating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
* Advanced Technologies: Utilize big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka, and integrate them with cloud-based advancements to develop state-of-the-art data solutions that drive business value and growth.
* Technical Expertise: Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams, translating complex concepts into actionable insights, and providing technical guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of data solutions.
Qualifications:
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
* Experience: Minimum 12 years in data engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, and a proven track record of delivering high-impact data solutions that drive business growth and innovation.
* Expertise: Proven experience in data strategy, architecture, and MDM implementation, with a deep understanding of cloud and big data technologies, and a passion for innovation and continuous learning.
* Technical Skills: Extensive experience with cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud, AWS) and big data technologies, including Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka, and a strong understanding of data governance and MDM principles.
* Leadership: Strong leadership abilities with a track record of guiding and motivating high-performing teams, and a proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
* Communication: Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, and a strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
