Job Summary

As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering data from scanned and/or processed images into our data capture system. You will work closely with our team to meet production volume goals, maintain quality levels, and increase speed and difficulty of tasks as expected with training and practice. This is an entry-level position that offers opportunities for growth and development in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Enter data from scanned and/or processed images into the data capture system with high accuracy and efficiency

• Meet expected hourly production volume goals and maintain quality levels above minimums set by management
• Increase speed and difficulty of tasks as expected with training and practice
• Maintain awareness of and actively participate in the Corporate Compliance Program
• Maintain a neat and orderly workstation and assist with other projects as assigned by management
• Demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality, and be comfortable working in a production environment
• Possess proficient typing skills (35wpm / 98% accuracy minimum) and excellent organization skills
• Reliability of task completion and follow-up is essential

Essential Qualifications

* High School diploma or equivalent

• Excellent data entry skills and computer knowledge
• Basic math skills and ability to learn new software applications quickly
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and meet production volume goals
• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in data entry or a related field

• Familiarity with healthcare industry and prior authorization processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
