About the Role
As an Experienced Data Engineer at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in developing and supporting our cloud-based data pipelines, ensuring that our data is accurate, reliable, and easily accessible to our teams. You'll work closely with our Data Science and Analytics teams to design, build, and maintain our data infrastructure, using a range of technologies including SQL, Python, Docker, and GitLab. Your expertise will help us to drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain cloud-based data pipelines using SQL, Python, and other technologies
- Design and implement data sets, tables, and views to support business intelligence and analytics
- Collaborate with Data Science and Analytics teams to develop and deploy data models and visualizations
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and reliability through data validation, testing, and monitoring
- Develop and maintain automated workflows and schedules to support data processing and delivery
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data requirements and opportunities
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in data engineering and analytics
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and support
- Strong expertise in Python and SQL, with experience using Snowflake and PostgreSQL
- Experience with Docker, GitLab, and other DevOps tools
- Strong understanding of data modeling and database design
- Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS
- Experience with source control tools, such as GitLab or GitHub
- Experience using automated workflow and scheduling tools, such as Apache Airflow or similar
- Strong understanding of data governance and data quality principles
- Experience working with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
