We are now seeking an experienced Quality Control Standards Data Analyst to join our team in a remote capacity.
About the Role:
As a Quality Control Standards Data Analyst, you will play a vital role in driving a culture of well-being, efficiency, and growth within the Quality Control division. Your primary responsibility will be to identify measurable patterns and performance metrics to improve the Quality Control department. You will work closely with the Quality Control team to utilize data to create, present, and propose innovative ideas and projects, as well as perform in-depth analysis to mitigate the risk of resistance through process enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform and assist others in the Quality Control group in collecting, verifying, and analyzing data on key performance indicators.
- Collaborate with the Quality Control team to create and communicate results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Assist in exploring ad-hoc requests arising from emerging maintenance issues and provide insightful answers to enable Senior Leadership to make informed business decisions while adjusting existing task responsibilities.
- Present findings, trends, and potential recommendations using data visualization tools to facilitate partner understanding.
- Assist in creating and disseminating specific queries to extract and organize data from various sources, establishing the rhythm, and approving the need for data requirements.
- Identify irregularities in processes through reviews/surveys and communicate findings to the team.
- Assess the effectiveness of processes and strategies by monitoring for patterns and errors.
- Ensure that a compliance mindset is at the forefront of every decision.
- May perform other work assignments as directed by the Team Lead.
Essential Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Data Science, Operations Research).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, coordinate, and analyze large datasets with precision and care.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively listen, understand, and convey ideas to diverse audiences.
- Ability to evaluate business issues, identify opportunities for data needs, and interpret resulting metrics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools and software, such as Tableau, Alteryx, and QuickBase, is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Previous internship, capstone project, or research experience in a related field.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with data visualization tools and software, such as Tableau, Alteryx, and QuickBase.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on liabilities and autonomous decision-making.
- Previous experience in a related field, such as quality control, operations research, or data science.
