Experienced Personal Lines Customer Service Representative – Insurance Product Expert

Job Summary:

The Personal Lines Customer Service Representative is a critical role that requires a unique blend of technical expertise, communication skills, and a customer-centric approach. As a representative of arenaflex, you'll be responsible for providing timely and professional responses to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and promoting our insurance products to clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Respond to customer requests in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring timely resolution of issues and concerns.

  • Initiate endorsements and other policy changes for customers, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption to their insurance coverage.
  • Process and transmit necessary information to clients and brokers, including ID Cards, DEC pages, applications, quotes, and other relevant documents.
  • Assist applicants and brokers with completion of the application and required forms, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with the underwriting team to obtain information from clients and brokers, facilitating a smooth underwriting process.
  • Escalate customer service issues to management as needed, ensuring prompt resolution and minimizing customer dissatisfaction.
  • Participate in special projects, contributing to the development and implementation of new initiatives and processes.
  • Provide assistance to clients to answer questions and resolve issues, including billing questions and policy changes.
  • Actively look to round out accounts by referring other value-added services, promoting cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
  • Review and re-write current accounts to carriers that will better fit the client's needs, ensuring optimal coverage and pricing.
  • Maintain client information and files, including communication and activities in the agency management system.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in carrier plans and policies, ensuring accurate and compliant service delivery.
  • Continuously educate yourself on new products, services, and industry developments, staying ahead of the curve in the insurance industry.
  • Build relationships with clients, carriers, and agents, fostering strong partnerships and driving business growth.

  • Strong technical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and agency management systems.

Education and/or Experience:

* High School Diploma or recognized equivalent is required.

  • Property & Casualty Producer's License is preferred but not required.

Computer Skills:

* Basic PC skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Familiarity with agency management systems and other relevant software applications.

Other Qualifications:

* Excellent organization skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, carriers, and agents.
