Responsibilities

As a Live Chat Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer support to our clients and their customers. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Answering incoming customer live chats regarding website navigation issues, service questions, and general client concerns
  • Evaluating customer interactions and elevating issues to the Online Chat Manager when appropriate
  • Creating relationships with new customers to better understand and achieve their needs
  • Responding to customer questions, inquiries, requests, and problems accurately, concisely, and appropriately
  • Promoting interest in client products and services
  • Consistently achieving established standards of the position
  • Continually portraying and projecting a positive and professional image
  • Providing administrative support to the customer service team
  • May assist with overflow work and other duties as needed

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:

  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work well both independently and within the context of a larger team-oriented environment
  • PC keyboarding and internet experience needed
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including written and verbal
  • Upbeat positive attitude and professional demeanor
  • Articulate and well-accustomed to a client-facing role
  • Ability to compose professional emails is a plus
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Basic technical skills (able to navigate through smartphone and computer applications) With an upbeat, positive, kind, empathetic personality

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple incoming requests for information
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in online chat software and other customer support tools
  • Basic technical skills (able to navigate through smartphone and computer applications)
  • Ability to compose professional emails and other written communication

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
  • Familiarity with online chat software and other customer support tools
  • Basic knowledge of website navigation and online marketing principles
