Experienced Chat Moderator – Remote Community Management and Conflict Resolution Specialist

As a remote, part-time position, this role offers the flexibility to work from anywhere and make a real impact on our community.
Job Description:
As a Chat Moderator at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in maintaining a positive and respectful online environment for our users. You'll be responsible for:
- Moderating the chat of our official Discord server, ensuring that all interactions adhere to our community guidelines and rules.
- Deleting messages that violate our rules, including hate speech, harassment, and spam.
- Banning users who repeatedly break our rules, and muting users who have violated our guidelines.
- Investigating reports from users about potential rule violations, and taking action to resolve the issue.
- Collaborating with our team to develop and implement community guidelines and policies.
- Providing excellent customer service to users, responding to their concerns and questions in a timely and professional manner.
Pay and Benefits:
* Hourly pay rate: $12.50 per hour
- Weekly pay cycle, starting from Monday and ending on Sunday

Qualifications:
* Must be 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Familiarity with Discord and online community management tools
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience as a moderator or community manager in a online community
- Knowledge of community guidelines and policies
- Familiarity with social media platforms and online engagement strategies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
