Job Summary

We're looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Part-Time Remote Data Entry Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our customer service and IT ticketing system team, you'll be responsible for receiving and processing customer requests, submitting tickets into our ticketing system, and providing exceptional customer service through timely and effective communication. Key Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Remote Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Receiving and processing customer requests for technical assistance via phone, email, or online chat
  • Submitting customer requests into our ticketing system for Help Desk technicians to review
  • Reviewing each open ticket to determine the outcome and providing updates to customers via email
  • Ensuring timely and effective communication with customers to resolve their issues efficiently
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and ticket status
  • Collaborating with the Help Desk team to resolve complex customer issues and provide exceptional customer service
  • Staying up-to-date with arenaflex's policies, procedures, and best practices for customer service and data entry

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Previous experience in I.T. Help Desk ticketing or online customer service for a technology company or busy online retailer
  • Excellent typing skills (at least 40 wpm) and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and team members
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Basic knowledge of computer systems, software applications, and IT concepts
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new systems, processes, and technologies quickly

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:

  • Experience with ticketing systems, such as Zendesk or Freshdesk
  • Knowledge of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) principles and practices
  • Certification in customer service or IT support (e.g., CompTIA A+ or ITIL Foundation)
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex customer issues
