Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Learning Specialist to lead and support a team of up to 30 Customer Support Associates. As a Senior Learning Specialist, you'll be responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs that meet the needs of our customers and employees. You'll work closely with operational stakeholders to identify learning gaps and develop solutions that drive business results. Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Learning Specialist, you'll perform the following tasks:

  • Supervise structured learning metrics and oversee results: You'll analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance the learning experience.
  • Manage live performance metrics end to end: You'll work closely with operational stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions that drive business results.
  • Conduct learning sessions and deliver training courses: You'll design and deliver training programs that meet the needs of our customers and employees, including new hire training, continuous learning, and performance improvement programs.
  • Maintain data and analysis through reports on Excel: You'll analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance the learning experience.
  • Ensure completion of new hire training program, coaching & other performance improvement programs on time: You'll work closely with operational stakeholders to ensure that all training programs are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Partner with operational stakeholders as a key POC for the Learning Experience team: You'll work closely with operational stakeholders to identify learning gaps and develop solutions that drive business results.
  • Identify learning coaches & certify them: You'll identify and certify learning coaches who can support the development of our Customer Support Associates.
  • Lead individual improvement projects to enhance business performance: You'll work closely with operational stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions that drive business results.
  • Drive Quality & Learning metrics: You'll analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance the learning experience.
  • Conduct chime sessions & Class room sessions to the stakeholders: You'll design and deliver training programs that meet the needs of our customers and employees, including new hire training, continuous learning, and performance improvement programs.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 2+ years of experience in training delivery roles: You'll have a proven track record of designing and delivering training programs that meet the needs of customers and employees.
  • 1 year experience in Customer Service or customer service-related work experience: You'll have a strong understanding of the customer service industry and the skills and knowledge required to succeed in this field.
  • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel), and instructional software: You'll be proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and instructional software to design and deliver training programs.
  • Highly Accurate and Fluent in Japanese and English: You'll be fluent in both Japanese and English, with a strong understanding of the nuances of each language.
  • Spoken and Written accuracy and fluency with an Japanese and English: You'll be able to communicate effectively in both Japanese and English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Flexible to work within a 24/7 x 365 days global team across a variety of time zones: You'll be able to work flexibly across a variety of time zones and be available to support the team as needed.
  • Knowledge of adult learning, content design and facilitation: You'll have a strong understanding of adult learning principles and be able to design and deliver training programs that meet the needs of our customers and employees.
  • Experience as a trainer, corporate training specialist, or related position: You'll have a proven track record of designing and delivering training programs that meet the needs of customers and employees.
  • Project management skills with the ability to supervise multiple projects: You'll be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong ability to multi-task: You'll be able to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
