Experienced Remote Data Entry Operator – Customer Service Division at arenaflex

Job Summary

The Remote Data Entry Operator will be responsible for establishing and maintaining utility accounts, verifying account eligibility and accessibility, preparing and distributing work orders, and performing other related duties as assigned. This is a remote position, and the successful candidate will be required to work from home, with regular communication and collaboration with our team.

Key Responsibilities

* Establishes and maintains utility accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information

  • Verifies account eligibility and accessibility, resolving any discrepancies or issues that may arise
  • Prepares, distributes, and completes work orders, ensuring timely and efficient completion
  • Prepares files for mass customer communications, including mailings and notifications
  • Assists with mailing billing statements and other notices generated in-house
  • Scans or retains documents, maintaining accurate and organized records
  • Performs monthly audits of incomplete account transfer requests, identifying areas for improvement
  • Enters data into Key Performance Indicator tracking databases, providing valuable insights and metrics for our team
  • Performs other related duties as assigned, including special projects and initiatives

Essential Qualifications

* Education: High School Diploma or acceptable equivalency diploma (GED)

  • Experience: Two (2) years of experience as a high-volume data entry operator or typist
  • Licenses or Certifications: None specified
  • Special Requirements: Must pass computer skills, typing, and accuracy, and 10-key skills testing for consideration

* Education: Associates degree in business administration, data entry, or related fields

  • Experience: Two (2) years of experience as a high-volume data entry operator or typist
  • Special Requirements: Must pass computer skills, typing, and accuracy, and 10-key skills testing for consideration

* Excellent data entry skills, with high accuracy and speed

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with team members and customers
  • Proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft Office and Public Works software
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to identify and resolve issues
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
