What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

As a part-time remote data entry operator, you'll be responsible for:

  • Entering and maintaining utility account information with high accuracy, ensuring that our records are up-to-date and reliable
  • Verifying account eligibility and accessibility for customers, providing exceptional customer service and resolving any issues that may arise
  • Preparing and distributing work orders and mass communications, ensuring that our customers receive timely and accurate information
  • Assisting with the mailing of billing statements and notices, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Conducting monthly audits of incomplete account transfer requests, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to optimize our processes

What's Required (Qualifications)

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A High School Diploma or GED, demonstrating your ability to learn and adapt to new situations
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience as a high-volume data entry operator or typist, with a proven track record of accuracy and attention to detail
  • The ability to pass computer skills, typing accuracy, and 10-key skills testing, ensuring that you have the technical skills required for this role
