Responsibilities

As a Virtual Customer Support Agent, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch customer service to our clients and their customers. Your duties will include:

  • Answering inbound phone and video calls, as well as live chats over the internet from your home office
  • Assisting customers with customer-related support questions and issues
  • Providing solutions to customer problems and concerns
  • Documenting customer interactions and issues in our CRM system
  • Collaborating with our team to resolve complex customer issues
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to improve your skills and knowledge

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 6+ months of customer service and/or administrative experience, preferably in a call center or phone support environment
  • A home office setting with a computer/laptop, internet connection, and headset hookups
  • High-level professionalism and phone etiquette for business purposes
  • Excellent typing, communication, and computer skills
  • Availability to work overtime and/or weekends if necessary
  • Willingness to submit to a standard background check, drug test, technology check, and voice assessments

Technical Requirements

To ensure a seamless experience for our customers, you'll need:

  • A CPU i5 (or equivalent) or i7 processor
  • Internet download speed of 5Mbs or higher
  • Internet upload speed of 3Mbs or higher
  • Network latency of 250 MS or lower
  • Operating System: Win 8.1 (64bit) or Win 10 (64bit)
  • RAM: 4GB minimum, 8GB recommended
  • A home office set up with an ethernet cord connected to your computer
  • A desktop or laptop connected to a nearby router or wall for firewall/security purposes

Skills and Competencies

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Administrative skills, including data entry, record-keeping, and document management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Familiarity with CRM software and customer support platforms
