Key Responsibilities

As an Accounting and Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for the following key duties:

  • Incoming Claim Review: Perform thorough reviews of incoming claims, assigning appropriate statuses, reviewing and organizing data, and routing completed files to the relevant auditors.
  • Incoming Claim Hygiene: Collaborate with internal teams to manage the import queue, assign statuses, perform balance reconciliation, compare charges to relevant forms, identify and update errors, and route completed files to the relevant auditors.
  • File Management: Manage the intake and output of files, handling communication regarding questions, discrepancies, and errors.
  • Error Identification and Reporting: Identify bugs or errors in the production environment and submit service tickets for the development team's attention.
  • Data Analysis: Review data and identify trends from various documents and systems, communicating findings to internal and external teams, with a focus on status updates, claims routing, intake efficiency, claim status, inventory, and volume.
  • Data Entry: Perform data entry of itemized bills.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by management.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking an experienced Accounting and Data Entry Clerk who possesses the following skills and qualifications:

  • Healthcare Background: A healthcare background is a plus, but not required.
  • Technical Skills: Intermediate to advanced skills with computers, including Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat, the use of multiple monitors, and the ability to learn and adapt to all company-specific software.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail, excellent organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external teams.
