Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our High-Level Examination and Content Development team. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for applying advanced analytical techniques to drive business decisions, identify new opportunities, and optimize content delivery. Key Responsibilities
* Apply advanced analytical techniques, including data mining, data visualization, statistical analysis, and AI, to large-scale, high-dimensional data to inform business decisions
- Analyze customer behavior, including preferences, viewing patterns, and engagement metrics, to identify untapped customer needs and new content opportunities
- Forecast content engagement to inform procurement decisions and optimize content delivery
- Streamline content launch and episode release processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Test marketing strategies to enhance engagement and retention
- Develop and implement new metrics and KPIs to measure content performance and inform strategic decisions
- Provide specialized analytical support to stakeholders to drive business growth and innovation
- Effectively communicate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through clear, concise, and compelling storytelling
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
- At least 1 year of experience in data analysis, with a strong understanding of statistical concepts and analytical techniques
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with R and Python programming languages
- Experience with machine learning and AI techniques, including decision trees, regression, clustering, and more
- Proven ability to work independently and apply creative problem-solving skills to complex problems
- Excellent data storytelling skills, with the ability to communicate complex insights through verbal, written, and visual communication
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience working with large-scale data sets and advanced analytical tools, such as Hadoop, Spark, or Tableau
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS or Google Cloud
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Power BI or D3.js
- Strong understanding of media and entertainment industry trends and challenges
