Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Data Engineer to join our team at arenaflex. As a Lead Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing large-scale data engineering solutions that meet the needs of our business. You will work closely with our data science team to develop and deploy data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes that provide insights into our business operations. Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and implement large-scale data engineering solutions that meet the needs of our business
- Collaborate with our data science team to develop and deploy data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes that provide insights into our business operations
- Develop and maintain high-quality documentation of your work and changes to ensure data quality and data governance
- Ensure high functional productivity and quality of your solutions to meet SLAs and support our commitment to our clients (Data Science, Data Analysis teams)
- Be a proactive member and advocate of agile/scrum practices to ensure well-being and cycle enhancements for your team
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure that our data engineering solutions are always innovative and effective
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on large-scale data processing and analytics
- Strong experience with SQL and data modeling, with the ability to design and implement complex data structures
- Experience with distributed systems, such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, and Scala
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Strong understanding of data governance and data quality principles
- Experience with agile/scrum methodologies and version control systems, such as Git
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on large-scale data processing and analytics
- Experience with big data technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases
- Strong experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js
- Strong understanding of machine learning and artificial intelligence principles
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools, such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design and implement complex data solutions
