Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service and Remote Virtual Assistant in US Healthcare Operations, your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and assembling medical record documentation/charts for physicians, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Ensuring medical record compliance by self-documentation attestation, adhering to hospital and medical facility policies
- Updating patient history, physical exam, and other pertinent health information in the patient's medical record
- Preparing and sending all documentation to physicians for review and approval, utilizing facility-specific procedures and authentication of detailed data entry
- Monitoring the duration of basic lab results and screening procedures, ensuring timely follow-up and communication with patients and healthcare professionals
- Complying with hospital and medical facility policies, including those relating to HIPAA and Joint Commission
- Performing other clerical duties and tasks to improve provider productivity and clinic workflow as assigned
Required Equipment and Environment
To perform your duties effectively, you'll need:
- A laptop or desktop with a minimum i5 processor and 8GB of RAM
- A reliable internet connection with a speed of at least 35mbps
- A noise-cancelling headset and webcam for video conferencing and communication
- A dedicated workspace at home, free from distractions and interruptions
Schedule and Work-Life Balance
As a full-time employee, you'll work a standard 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm. We understand the importance of work-life balance and offer flexible scheduling to accommodate your needs.
