Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Distribution Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Interacting with customers in a professional and courteous manner, responding to inquiries and complaints concerning work orders, invoices, shipments, inventory counts, and other related matters.
  • Processing and inputting customer orders in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Producing stock reports to check for product availability and ensuring that customers receive the right products at the right time.
  • Coordinating special and last-minute shipping requests with the Traffic and Operations Departments, expediting orders as necessary.
  • Providing follow-up with other departments to ensure service standards are being met and customers receive the best possible experience.
  • Assuring proper invoicing of accounts by verifying computer-generated invoices and ensuring accuracy.
  • Preparing shipping and tracing information to customers as required and maintaining accurate records.
  • Maintaining damage records and back-order logs to ensure seamless order fulfillment.
  • Communicating customer feedback to management, including any signs of dissatisfaction, to drive continuous improvement.
  • Acting as a liaison between the warehouse and the customer in the administration of accounts and between the office and customers regarding invoicing and credit changes.
  • Overseeing all paperwork associated with orders and maintaining corresponding files.
  • Maintaining a current and accurate procedure manual, which details the processing requirements for each account.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong computer knowledge, including MS Office applications.
  • Basic typing skills and familiarity with 10-key.
  • Experience with shipping software systems, including UPS and Federal Express.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences.
  • Ability to work in varying facility conditions.
  • Availability to work irregular or extended hours, including nights, weekends, and potentially holidays as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial:

  • Previous experience in a customer service or distribution role.
  • Familiarity with arenaflex's systems and processes.
  • Certification in customer service or a related field.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

arenaflex offers a competitive compensation package, including:

  • A base hourly rate of $19.00 HOUR.
  • Potential for an additional $1.00 HOUR based on shift work.
