Responsibilities
As a Full Stack Software Engineer at arenaflex, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Developing next-generation mobile payment applications using Java, Objective-C, C, or C++
- Designing and developing native mobile applications for iOS, including Apps & SDK libraries
- Providing subject matter expertise for iOS platform and developing iOS framework and UI based on best practices
- Executing POCs for visionary initiatives and working as part of a scrum team to execute product requirements
- Collaborating with UX, product management, and other teams in an agile manner
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the industry and applying this knowledge to improve our products and services
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a relevant field
- 5+ years of experience in Software Development using Java, Objective-C, C, or C++
- 2+ years of experience in iOS Mobile Application Development
- Expert ability to work independently and manage one's time
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Strong foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design optimized for mobile platforms
- Experience with iOS development tools, including Xcode, continuous integration tools, and unit testing
- Knowledge of iOS platform security practices
- Experience using RESTful APIs to integrate mobile applications to server-side systems
- Solid coding practices, including good design documentation, unit testing, source control (GIT, SVN, etc.), and peer code-reviews
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus:
- Experience with Mobile Banking applications
- Familiarity with integrating GCM notification systems
- Familiarity with design and implementation of configuration-oriented Apps
- Familiarity with Imaging API's and Remote deposit
