Job Description:
As a Lead Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data solutions that support arenaflex's business growth and customer engagement initiatives. Your expertise in big data, cloud computing, and data engineering will enable you to drive business outcomes and improve customer experiences. Your key responsibilities will include:
Design and Development of Data Solutions:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop data solutions that meet arenaflex's business needs. This includes planning and developing data warehouses, data lakes, and data pipelines using cloud-based technologies such as AWS, Snowflake, and Hadoop.
Data Engineering:
Design and develop scalable data architectures that support arenaflex's business growth and customer engagement initiatives. This includes developing ETL pipelines, data models, and data structures using languages such as Python, Scala, and SQL.
Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and data analysts to design, develop, and maintain data solutions that meet arenaflex's business needs.
Documentation and Quality Assurance:
Maintain detailed documentation of your work and changes to ensure data quality and data governance.
Scrum and Agile Practices:
Participate in scrum and agile practices to ensure team collaboration, cycle enhancements, and high functional productivity.

Solid SQL Skills:
Ability to write complex SQL queries to extract insights from large datasets and build performant datasets.
Big Data Experience:
Experience with distributed frameworks such as Hadoop (HDFS, Hive, Voila, PySpark) to query and process large datasets.
Programming Skills:
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java/Scala, and experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS (S3, EMR, EC2).
Data Integration:
Experience with data integration toolsets such as Wind current and composing and maintaining data pipelines.
Data Warehousing:
Strong knowledge of data warehousing standard systems and practices, including data modeling and data governance.
Scrum and Agile:
Familiarity with scrum and agile practices, including team collaboration, cycle enhancements, and high functional productivity.
