Job Summary

As an Insurance Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for handling property and casualty (P&C) related customer service and billing inquiries, providing quotes, policy changes, and policy change impacts to premium. You'll work closely with our policyholders to understand their needs, offer personalized solutions, and ensure seamless policy management. With a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction, you'll be the face of arenaflex, delivering exceptional service and support to our valued members and customers.

Key Responsibilities

* Handle property and casualty (P&C) related customer service and billing inquiries via telephone, email, and direct mail

  • Provide policyholders with plan coverage information, quotes, policy changes, and policy change impacts to premium
  • Review and update policies to enhance retention and better meet the needs of the consumer
  • Counsel policyholders on appropriate coverage, policy limits, payment options, and state laws to ensure sufficient protection against risks covered by P&C insurance
  • Make recommendations and/or changes to policies and gain policyholder acceptance to process changes
  • Receive and respond to calls and emails, documenting all activity in EPIC
  • Utilize knowledge of insurance industry and club insurance agency policies and procedures to provide efficient and professional customer service
  • Identify opportunities to apply discounts, process insurance verification forms for insured, and act as liaison for information exchange between customer and insurance companies
  • Process changes to policies within EPIC and submit changes to specific companies, following up to ensure timely processing
  • Review policy information and references company-specific claims procedures to assist insured in filing claims
  • Mail insured documentation to be signed and returned as necessary, following up to ensure timely return
  • Recognize cross-sell opportunities (membership and insurance) and obtain quote information

Requirements

* High school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of increasingly complex customer service experience in an insurance environment

  • Property and Casualty insurance license required
  • Membership license preferred and/or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment

* Work from home opportunity, with a flexible schedule (Monday - Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. CST, with rotating Saturdays)
