Job Summary
As a Remote Healthcare Billing and Customer Service Representative, you'll work as an extended business office representative on behalf of our clients, providing exceptional customer service and support to patients and their families. You'll help patients understand their medical bills, answer questions, and resolve account balances. Key Responsibilities:
* Empathetic communication: Use empathy and fantastic listening, verbal, and written communication skills to help patients and their families understand confusing and often unexpected medical bills.
- Customer service excellence: Provide outstanding customer service and collaborate with patients over the phone on affordable payment plans and take payments by phone.
- Accurate documentation: Use your computer proficiency, organization, and attention to detail to accurately document all calls and follow-ups in our software systems throughout each day.
- Team support: Support your fellow team members with consistent attendance, excellent work ethic, and caring team focus.
- Continuous improvement: Continuously improve with supportive coaching/feedback from your manager and team leads and ongoing training.
Essential Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent: Required.
- 1-2 years of customer service experience: Preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Essential.

* Base annual pay: $37,440 - $43,680 per year, based on prior experience.
- Monthly performance bonuses: $100 - $400 per month.
