Experienced Data Entry Specialist – Alternate Investments (Remote Opportunity)

Job Summary

As a Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for performing daily reconciliation, trade, and transfer tasks for Alternate Investments. Your primary focus will be on processing trade deal purchases in customer profiles, identifying and addressing breaks between TD Ameritrade and fund companies or transfer agents. You'll also be responsible for processing Corporate Activity Activities, settling/reconciling transactions, and processing/reconciling returns activity. Additionally, you may be tasked with analyzing complex/escalated issues, testing/validation of new innovation enhancements, and provider modifications.

Key Responsibilities

* Process trade deal purchases in customer profiles

• Identify and address breaks between TD Ameritrade and fund companies or transfer agents
• Process Corporate Activity Activities
• Settle/reconcile transactions
• Process/reconcile returns activity
• Analyze complex/escalated issues
• Test/validation of new innovation enhancements and provider modifications
• Review and analysis of correct tax coding and corrections of tax coding errors
• Troubleshoot internal/external system issues or concerns
• Identify root cause of breaks between TDA, the Fund, etc.
• Provide method or innovation service alternatives to Management
• Remediate transfer issues with the Fund or Opposite Firm
• Answer business partner inquiries concerning Fund details requirements/eligibility
• Provide follow-up on Substitute Expenditure moves to expedite the customer demand or remediate not neat issues
• Prompt and accurate finalization of client investing and dividend demands

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

• 0-2 years of experience in data entry or a related field
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Familiarity with Salesforce and other CRM systems a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in the financial industry, particularly in Alternate Investments

• Knowledge of regulatory commitments (e.g., 2340 and 15C3-3)
• Familiarity with tax coding and corrections
• Experience with testing/validation of new innovation enhancements and provider modifications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a remote environment with minimal supervision
