Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced data analyst to join our High-Level Examination, Content Group. As a data analyst, you will apply advanced analytical techniques to large-scale, high-dimensional data sets to drive business decisions, identify new opportunities, and optimize our content release process. You will work closely with our content team to analyze client behavior, forecast content engagement, and develop new metrics and KPIs to measure content performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Apply advanced analytical techniques (data mining, data visualization, statistical analysis, AI) to large-scale, high-dimensional data sets to drive business decisions
- Analyze client behavior (e.g., viewing patterns, engagement metrics) to identify untapped client needs and undiscovered content opportunities
- Forecast content engagement to inform purchasing decisions
- Enhance our content release and episode release process
- Test marketing strategies to optimize engagement and retention
- Ideate and develop new metrics and KPIs to measure content performance for both strategic and tactical navigation
- Provide specialized analytical support to partners to drive business growth
- Effectively communicate significant results through compelling data storytelling across the organization
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in the entertainment or media industry
- Proficiency in SQL and experience in R or Python
- Experience in statistical analysis and AI techniques: decision trees, regression, clustering, etc.
- Proven ability to work independently and apply creativity in solving complex problems
- Excellent data storytelling skills through verbal, written, and visual communication
Good TO-HAVES
* Master's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
- An interest in media and entertainment
