Job Summary

As an Ecom Store Chat Support Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch customer support via live chat on our clients' websites and social media accounts. You'll be the first point of contact for customers, handling their inquiries, resolving issues, and processing orders in a timely and efficient manner. This role requires quick learners who can adapt to new situations, work independently, and thrive in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Handle incoming customer support questions via live chat on businesses' websites and social media accounts

  • Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and process orders in a timely and efficient manner
  • Provide general customer service to enhance the online shopping experience
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure seamless customer support and resolve complex issues
  • Follow provided steps and instructions to ensure consistency and quality in customer interactions
  • Work independently, with minimal supervision, to meet performance targets and deadlines

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., business, communications, or customer service) preferred

  • 1+ year of experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in e-commerce or a related industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers from diverse backgrounds
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and meet performance targets and deadlines
  • Reliable internet connection and a device able to access social media and website chat functions (phone, tablet, or laptop)
  • 10+ hours of availability per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with live chat software and customer support platforms

  • Knowledge of e-commerce platforms, including Shopify, Magento, or WooCommerce
  • Familiarity with social media management tools and platforms
  • Certification in customer service or a related field (e.g., Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR))
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate with customers in multiple languages
