About the Role:

As a Customer Service Representative on our Medicare team, you'll play a vital role in handling claims, benefits, enrollment, member portal, ID cards, and other customer inquiries. Your primary responsibility will be to work with customers to resolve problems, provide accurate information, and ensure a seamless experience. This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a customer-focused mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

* Handle inbound calls from Medicare customers, responding to their inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information on Medicare benefits, enrollment, and claims
  • Utilize empathy and problem-solving skills to resolve complex customer issues
  • Navigate multiple systems, including our customer relationship management (CRM) software and other relevant tools
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall service quality
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics, including call handling time, first-call resolution, and customer satisfaction ratings
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

  • 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate complex messages over the phone
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to empathize with customers and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously, including CRM software and other relevant tools
  • Strong customer-focused competencies, with a service-oriented mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high volume of customer calls and inquiries

Preferred Qualifications:

* Healthcare industry experience, preferably in a Medicare or insurance-related role

  • Previous experience working in a call center environment, with a focus on inbound calls
  • Medical background or experience working in a healthcare-related field
  • Familiarity with Medicare benefits, enrollment, and claims processes
