Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:

• Providing information and assistance to individuals, families, small group employees, and brokers regarding eligibility and enrollment for Medicaid, and services applications and enrollments for Qualified Health Plans on the Exchange.
• Utilizing the State's eligibility and enrollment portal and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and other State systems to perform all tasks and duties for HIX customers.
• Ensuring delivery of high-quality service for all Maryland consumers.
• Collaborating with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall service experience.
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation of customer interactions.
• Participating in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in a call center or customer service environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in using computer software applications, including CRM systems.
• Ability to pass a State Policy Exam with 80% or higher.
