Medical Biller / Insurance Verification Representative (Remote)
Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Medical Billing & Insurance Verification Specialist to join our team. This is a fully remote, entry-level position supporting chiropractic offices. The ideal candidate is organized, tech-savvy, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. While prior experience in a medical office and knowledge of medical terminology is preferred, we are willing to train the right candidate with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform medical billing tasks, including claim submission and follow-up
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits
- Communicate with insurance companies as needed
- Accurately enter and manage data in billing systems
- Work across multiple online platforms and websites daily
- Maintain organized records and documentation
- Provide excellent customer service when handling account inquiries
- Meet productivity and accuracy expectations
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a medical office preferred but not required
- Basic understanding of medical terminology is a plus
- Strong computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems
- Comfortable using internet-based tools and applications
- Excellent multitasking and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Schedule:
- Full-time or part-time opportunities available
- Core hours required: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (EST) – uninterrupted
- Full-time schedule is 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Part-time candidates must be available during core hours
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour Benefits:
