Schedule and Work Environment

As a Part-Time Data Entry Claims Intake Processor, you'll work 34 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with flexible hours between 8am and 4:30pm CST. This role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere with a stable internet connection. You'll have access to our state-of-the-art imaging software, which will enable you to efficiently navigate and retrieve claims and authorizations for data entry.

Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Data Entry Claims Intake Processor, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Accurately entering data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests submitted by healthcare providers
  • Entering data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests expediently and efficiently to meet client turnaround times
  • Navigating efficiently and effectively through the imaging software to retrieve claims and authorizations for data entry
  • Differentiating between different claim types and following the appropriate data entry guidelines
  • Accurately identifying specific document types that require special handling
  • Working collaboratively with other team members to ensure that work is completed in accordance with designated turnaround times
  • Supporting additional workflows as needed due to internal or external requirements

Additional Responsibilities

In addition to your primary responsibilities, you'll also be expected to:

  • Perform quality review of other team members' claims/authorizations according to established data entry guidelines
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing additional responsibilities as needed
  • Alert management of potential issues upon identification of discrepancies
  • Provide recommendations on process improvements to increase efficiencies as appropriate

Qualifications

To be a successful Part-Time Data Entry Claims Intake Processor at arenaflex, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:

Required Level of Education, Licenses, and/or Certificates

+ High school diploma or equivalent

Required Level of Experience

+ 6 months or more years of experience in data entry or typing-focused role

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

+ Strong data entry/typing skills + Excellent attention to detail + High degree of accuracy
