Key Responsibilities:

As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

• Creating new, modifying existing, and executing ad-hoc reporting in support of business procedures and data-driven decision making
• Developing relevant dashboards on Power BI and Excel
• Establishing robust Data Quality specifications and controls to ensure data integrity and accessibility
• Handling and producing new records pipelines from source devices to the Data Warehouse
• Collaborating with Monitoring and Business Analysts to identify business requirements, maintain accurate documentation, and obtain business sign-offs for all reporting requirements
• Generating, sustaining, and cultivating scalable data pipelines and data design
• Utilizing data storytelling principles to create clear and impactful data visualizations using Power BI
• Assisting in automating existing business processes and enhancing exception-based reporting
• Working with IT and BA's to investigate, research, and obtain new data variables (data exploration)
• Analyzing large datasets to identify meaningful patterns that yield actionable results
• Evaluating data from multiple sources and resolving discrepancies
• Validating data for accuracy by verifying against standards
• Researching data errors and remediating poor data
• Contributing to the Data Governance plan by updating the data dictionary and plan & procedures
• Analyzing and affirming metrics are effective and providing feedback to division leaders on areas that require attention

Essential Qualifications:

* 2+ years of experience in in-depth data analysis and evaluation

• Strong experience working with Power BI, including creating and modifying reports, dashboards, and data models
• Knowledge of DAX, SQL, and M Code
• Proficiency in SQL, with the ability to create complex SQL queries to generate reports and analytics
• Experience with ETL tools, including SSIS, Power BI Dataflows, or other Big Data integrations
• Strong data modeling experience using star schema or other methods
• Problem-solving skills through statistical analysis with large data sets
• Expertise with SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio), Power BI, and Power Query
• Familiarity with Smartsheets

Preferred Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

• Experience working in a data-driven environment, with a focus on data analysis and visualization
• Strong understanding of data governance principles and best practices
• Certification in data analysis, data science, or related field
• Experience working with cloud-based data platforms, such as Azure or AWS
