Primary Responsibilities
As an Experienced Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
- Handling high-volume inbound calls from policyholders, providers, and interested third parties, ensuring exceptional service and first-contact resolution.
- Reviewing and maintaining new and revised procedures regarding policy information to stay up-to-date on industry developments.
- Meeting customer needs through various channels, including phone, email, and written correspondence.
- Maintaining department standards for call volume, average handle time, and time management.
- Collaborating with colleagues to resolve complex issues and improve customer satisfaction.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- 1+ years of experience in a high-volume contact center environment, with a strong background in customer service.
- A Receptionist role or similar experience where you handled daily calls is a strict requirement.
- 18 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong remote experience is preferred but not required.
- Reliable internet connection with a minimum of 20 UPLOAD & 20 DOWNLOAD internet speed and a hard-wired connection.
- A smartphone to access VPN.
- Insurance industry experience is a plus but not a requirement.
- A quiet and professional workspace.
- Basic computer knowledge and skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Minimum typing requirement of 30 wpm.
- Proficient use of the computer, keyboard functions, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
Training and Onboarding
Our comprehensive training program will equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in this role. You'll participate in a 2-3 week training session, Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm CST. After training, you'll be assigned to a 40-hour workweek, with flexible scheduling between 7:30 am - 6:30 pm CST.
Equipment and Technology
arenaflex will provide all necessary equipment, including a smartphone for VPN access. You'll need to have a quiet and professional workspace to ensure excellent customer service.
Location and Availability
As a remote CSR, you'll work from home and be available to work Monday-Friday, with no weekend shifts unless overtime is presented. We're looking for candidates who can commit to a full-time schedule, with no part-time positions available.
