Job Responsibilities:
As a Full Stack Software Engineer in our Big Data & Cloud Application Development team, you will be responsible for:
- Designing, developing, and deploying scalable and secure software applications using cutting-edge technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions that meet customer needs.
- Participating in code reviews and testing to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Leading small teams of engineers and mentoring junior team members to drive technical excellence and innovation.
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and growth.
Key Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on big data and cloud application development.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, and Scala.
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms such as AWS and GCP.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on big data and cloud application development.
- Experience with cloud-native applications and microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins and Docker.
- Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
