The Opportunity

arenaflex is seeking a highly skilled Administrative Clerk / Data Entry Specialist to join our team in the Pittsford, NY area. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a growing company, providing administrative support to professionals in the healthcare industry. This is an excellent chance to transition your customer service and clerical skills into a new and exciting field.

Job Responsibilities

As an Administrative Clerk / Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative tasks, including:

  • Processing medical claim reviews by professionals
  • Word processing, data entry, faxing, and document review
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
  • Providing exceptional customer service to clients and colleagues
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure seamless workflow
  • Staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices

Work Schedule

* Full-time position with a variety of shifts available: + Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm + Tuesday – Saturday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm

  • Training hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm for approximately 2-3 weeks

Salary and Benefits

* Competitive hourly rate: $16.20/hour

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required

  • 1-2 years of experience in a clerical or administrative role
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in the healthcare industry or a related field

  • Certification in medical terminology or a related field
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
