Job Summary

As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in supporting our business operations by creating, maintaining, and analyzing data to inform business decisions. You'll work closely with our technology team to ensure seamless data storage and retrieval, and collaborate with our business analysts to identify business requirements and develop data-driven solutions. Key Responsibilities

* Create new, modify existing, and execute ad-hoc reporting in support of business procedures and data-driven decision making

• Develop and maintain data quality specifications and controls to ensure data integrity and accessibility
• Handle and produce new data pipelines from source devices to the Data Warehouse
• Collaborate with Monitoring and Business Analysts to identify business requirements, maintain complete documentation, and obtain business sign-offs for all reporting requirements
• Generate, sustain, and cultivate scalable data pipelines and data design
• Utilize data storytelling principles to create clear and impactful data visualizations using Power BI
• Aid in automating existing business processes and improving exception-based reporting
• Collaborate with IT and BA's to investigate, research, and obtain new data variables (data exploration)
• Analyze large datasets to identify meaningful patterns that provide actionable results
• Evaluate data acquired from multiple sources and resolve discrepancies
• Validate data for accuracy by confirming against standards
• Research data errors and remediate poor data
• Join the Data Governance plan by updating the data dictionary and plan & procedures
• Analyze and affirm metrics are effective and provide feedback to division innovators of styles that require attention

Essential Qualifications

* 2+ years of experience in in-depth data analysis

• Solid experience working with Power BI
• Proficiency in working with different reporting tools such as Dimensions, Measures, Filters, Calculated Fields, improvements, guidelines, provisional formatting, DAX queries, Interactions, etc. in Power BI
• Knowledge of DAX, SQL, M Code
• Proficiency in SQL, able to create complex SQL to generate files and analytics
• Proficiency in ETL tools including SSIS, PowerBI Dataflows, or other Big Data assimilations
• Solid data modeling experience using star schema or other methods
• Problem-solving through statistical analysis with large data sets highly preferred
• Expertise with SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio), Power BI and Power Query
• Expertise with Smartsheets
• Strong effort in the progression and timely completion of projects and deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or D3.js

• Knowledge of data governance principles and practices
• Experience with data quality and data validation techniques
• Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL concepts
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Strong understanding of data security and compliance regulations
