Experienced Customer Service Representative - After Hours Support for arenaflex's Elderly Home Based Care Services

As a key member of our remote team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our clients receive timely and effective support, even outside of regular business hours.

The Role

As a Customer Service Representative with arenaflex, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional support to our clients and their caregivers, both during and outside of regular business hours. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Answering all incoming calls and resolving client and nurse queries within the scope of after-hours support
  • Providing timely responses to queries that come in through our texting platform
  • Notifying clients and replacing caregiver callouts as necessary
  • Confirming caregivers 1-2 hours before shift start
  • Performing initial intake for callers potentially interested in our services
  • Documenting all scenarios on our platform, as well as updating caregiver schedules as needed
  • Completing non-urgent admin projects if time allows

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Fluent English: You'll need to be fluent in English to effectively communicate with our clients and caregivers.
  • Compassionate and confident: You'll need to be empathetic and understanding, with a confident and professional demeanor.
  • Responsible and reliable: You'll need to be highly responsible and reliable, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • 10+ years' work experience in customer service + office duties: You'll need to have a minimum of 10 years' experience in customer service and office duties, with a proven track record of success.
  • Adaptable and flexible regarding work hours: You'll need to be adaptable and flexible regarding work hours, including working a 3-day week with 4-hour shifts per day and a Saturday and Sunday shift of 12 hours per day.
  • Impeccable phone and computer skills: You'll need to have excellent phone and computer skills, with the ability to navigate our platform and software with ease.
  • Staffing and/or health care experience: You'll need to have experience in staffing and/or health care, with a strong understanding of the industry and its challenges.
  • Experience working remotely and independently: You'll need to have experience working remotely and independently, with a quiet and professional work-from-home environment.
  • Remotely set up with Wi-Fi and load-shedding back-up: You'll need to have a reliable internet connection and a load-shedding back-up plan in place.
