Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
* Answering incoming calls from customers and responding to their inquiries in a timely and professional manner
* Reviewing customer history as necessary to provide personalized support
* Following policy and procedure guidelines to ensure consistency and accuracy
* Helping customers change travel plans, confirm or obtain their itinerary, request refunds, or report travel issues
* Processing refunds and resolving customer complaints in a fair and efficient manner
* Placing outbound calls to travel partners (hotels, rental car agencies, etc.) as necessary to resolve customer issues
* Documenting information and outcomes as necessary to maintain accurate records
About You
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* Prior customer service experience, preferably in the travel industry or a related field
* Strong geographical knowledge and the ability to navigate complex travel-related issues
* Excellent customer service skills, including strong communication, listening, and problem-solving abilities
* A self-directed and proactive approach to work, with a focus on delivering results in a fast-paced environment
* Strong typing skills and proficiency in using the internet and navigating multiple applications
* A computer and equipment meeting the following specifications:
+ Internet: High-speed, hardwired internet (no Wi-Fi or satellite)
+ Operating System: Windows 10
+ Processor: Intel Core i5, 1.5 GHz and above
+ Memory: 8GB of RAM
+ Hard Drive: 256GB
+ Browser: Internet Explorer 11 and latest version of Google Chrome
+ Monitor: Dual monitors, each capable of displaying at least 1920 x 1080 pixels
