Job Summary
As a Patient Registration Representative, you'll be the first point of contact for patients, providing a warm and welcoming experience as they check into the hospital. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple tasks and responsibilities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities
* Provide exceptional patient care by collecting accurate and timely information during registration
- Work across multiple screens, collecting details from patients, physicians, and nurses in a busy environment
- Answer phones, respond to patient inquiries, and address concerns in a compassionate and professional manner
- Collaborate with clinicians to ensure seamless registration processes, even in emergent situations
- Build rapport with patients, addressing their fears, concerns, and questions in real-time
- Work in a fast-paced environment, often on your feet, to assist patients complete their registration
- Collect patient and insurance information, navigating complex health plans and coverage

Requirements
* High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent customer service experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple tasks and responsibilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask, type quickly, and navigate multiple programs
- Compassion, empathy, and a patient-centered approach
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
Preferred Qualifications
* Previous experience in healthcare or a related field
- Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bilingual or multilingual skills
