Responsibilities

As a Remote Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

• Transferring data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards, data recorders, or optical scanners
• Typing in data provided directly from customers with accuracy and attention to detail
• Creating spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes, ensuring data integrity and consistency
• Verifying data by comparing it to source documents, maintaining data confidentiality and security
• Updating existing data to ensure accuracy and relevance
• Retrieving data from the database or electronic files as requested, providing timely and efficient support
• Performing regular backups to ensure data preservation and prevent loss

Requirements and Skills

To succeed as a Remote Data Entry Specialist, you'll need:
