Position Summary:
As an Experienced Customer Service Representative I, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to customers opening and maintaining deposit accounts while suggesting and explaining products and services. You will be the face of arenaflex, ensuring that every customer interaction is a positive and memorable experience.
Essential Functions:
• Open and maintain deposit accounts, ensuring that all necessary documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Understand and explain all products and services accurately when offered to customers, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Open new deposit accounts and execute all CIP (Customer Identification Program) requirements, adhering to all federal regulations, laws, and Bank policies.
- Maintain deposit accounts as requested, updating accounts, ordering checks, and performing other tasks as needed.
- Discuss and resolve questions and concerns with customers in a caring and respectful manner, ensuring that every interaction is a positive experience.
- Image work documents timely and accurately as required daily, maintaining the highest level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
As an Experienced Customer Service Representative I, you will be responsible for carrying out the following responsibilities while adhering to all federal regulations, laws, and Bank policies:
- Providing exceptional customer service to customers opening and maintaining deposit accounts
- Suggesting and explaining products and services to customers
- Opening new deposit accounts and executing all CIP requirements
- Maintaining deposit accounts as requested
- Discussing and resolving questions and concerns with customers
- Imaging work documents timely and accurately as required daily
Experience Required:
To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of one (1) year of proven customer service experience. Previous experience in banking and knowledge of banking processes are preferred. You will also need basic clerical skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Education, Certifications & Training:
A high school diploma or GED is required for this role. While not necessary, previous experience in banking and knowledge of banking processes can be beneficial in this position.
Job-Specific Skills & Knowledge:
To excel in this role, you will need the following skills and knowledge:
- Knowledge of bank products, services, and regulatory requirements (preferred)
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers
- Working knowledge of applicable computer systems
- Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment managing multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
Working Conditions:
As an Experienced Customer Service Representative I, you will be working in an office environment within a climate-controlled facility that can be high-traffic during peak service times. You will be frequently using the telephone, computer, and other office equipment associated with this position, as well as engaging in face-to-face interaction with customers. You will typically be seated at your personal desk for the majority of the day.
