Key Responsibilities

As a Finance Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Answering inbound calls from customers regarding their banking accounts, products, and services
  • Assisting customers with account inquiries, including balances, transactions, and statements
  • Resolving customer concerns related to online banking, debit/credit cards, and transactions
  • Providing information on bank products such as checking and savings accounts, loans, and credit cards
  • Processing account updates, including address changes, stop payments, and new product enrollments
  • Escalating unresolved issues to the appropriate department or supervisor for further action
  • Maintaining a high level of professionalism and empathy while handling customer concerns
  • Meeting or exceeding call handling and customer satisfaction metrics
  • Accurately documenting customer interactions in the bank's system
  • Staying informed about bank policies, procedures, and regulations to provide accurate information

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the banking or financial services industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with customers and provide personalized support
  • Strong typing skills and basic software skills, with the ability to navigate our customer relationship management system
  • A customer-centric mindset, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a high level of professionalism and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial:

  • Experience working in a call center or customer service environment
  • Knowledge of banking products and services, including online banking, debit/credit cards, and transactions
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management software and systems
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
