About the Job

In this exciting role, you will be responsible for:

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Specialized Bookkeeping, Functional Bookkeeping, Designing, Product, Finance, Assessment, Legal, and other stakeholders to drive key business initiatives and enhance financial processes.
• Creating and planning comprehensive bookkeeping data requirements to support the automation of journal entries, ensuring accuracy, completeness, compliance, and efficiency in financial processes.
• Leading functional improvement initiatives to further streamline income tasks and reduce the income close cycle.
• Reviewing data quality of journal entries prepared through the Income Subledger and planning Data Quality checks for identified use cases through bookkeeping requirements planning, special examinations, new product launches, etc.
• Working with the Product and Designing teams to continuously improve our daily Income Compromise process and oversee compromise investigation with the help of the analysis team.
• Reviewing meetings and evaluating impact on existing or need for new bookkeeping requirements for the Income Subledger.
• Cross-collaborating with collaborating teams on journal entry streams for new or existing products for automation through the Income Subledger.
• Performing monthly income bookkeeping close responsibilities, including but not limited to: GAAP income analysis, cost of income analysis, debt claims compromises, review journal entries, and audit close package expectations.
• Conducting special examinations and projects as assigned.

* You have 3+ years of experience in income bookkeeping, data analysis, and business intelligence.

• You have a solid understanding of US GAAP, ASC 606 Income Recognition required; knowledge of IFRS an plus.
• You have transitional/high-level SQL skills and the ability to work with large volumes of conditional data, Python an plus.
• You have solid analytical and critical thinking skills and the ability to adapt to changing work environments.
• You have the ability to communicate with all levels of management and cross-functional teams, both within and remotely.

Compensation and Benefits

* The base salary range for this position is $28/hour.

• Actual pay within the salary range will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. For jobs that are available to be filled remotely, base salary is capped by employee work location. Please discuss your planned work location with your recruiter for more information.
